IVCC Technology Loans:

Notice:

• In an effort to ensure that devices are regularly updated and reimaged, the IVCC library has discontinued renewal requests for laptops and wifi hotspots.
• All devices must be returned at the end of the semester and re-requested for the upcoming semester by using the library’s online request form.
• All devices must be returned to the library no later than May 14, 2025. Unreturned devices will be handled in accordance with the borrower agreement form.
• Upon return, all devices will be reimaged and updated. Please remember to save any documents to your IVCC OneDrive.

Summer 2025 Technology Requests - Devices are expected to become available on May 15, 2025.

If you are interested in borrowing a laptop or wifi hotspot for the summer 2025 semester, please complete the online request form. Summer requests will be added to a waiting list. Once devices have been prepared for summer checkout, library staff will begin reaching out to patrons on the list. Pickup is expected to begin on Thursday May 15th. Due to the limited number of laptops and hotspots available, placing a request does not guarantee a device.

Fall 2025 Technology Requests - Devices are expected to become available by August 15, 2025.

Fall 2025 request dates are now available. Students registered for fall courses may complete the online request form. Requests will be added to a waiting list and library staff will reach out to set up pickup dates once devices are ready for checkout. Due to the limited number of laptops and hotspots available, placing a request does not guarantee a device.

The Academic Support Center at IVCC provides student technology loans for both short and long term periods. 

The ASC offers the following items for checkout:

• Long term - Semester long checkout:
  • Laptops, all ITS software is installed, including Respondus Browser
  • Hotspots
• Short term - Single day checkout:
  • Laptops
  • Webcams
  • HDMI adapters
  • Calculators

If you are a staff or faculty who are requesting a long term technology loan, please note that student loans take priority and the library reserves the right to recall any staff or faculty loans should the need occur. The first 2 weeks of each semester are reserved for student loans and thereafter, based upon availability, faculty and staff may check out technology for a two week period.

Device Checkout & Long Term Loan Agreement Form

On your pickup date, visit the library service desk in A-201. You will need your student ID card to check out the requested laptop or hotspot. As part of the checkout process, you will be asked to complete a long term loan agreement form. A copy of this form can be accessed by clicking the link below.
