Interlibrary Loan
Can't find what you need for professional or personal use in the Jacobs Library collection? Try Interlibrary Loan!
Convenient ways to access materials from other libraries:
- For books, videos, audiobooks, etc.: Look in our library catalog (SOAR) first. If not available in our local catalog, look in I-Share (through SOAR) and place a request.
- If you can't find it via I-Share, contact Sherri Popurella to request it through OCLC WorldShare. ILL staff will try to find the item through other libraries in Illinois or perhaps even out-of-state.
- For articles, try our Journal List of Online Magazines, Scholarly Journals, and Newspapers. If our library has access to the full-text of the publication, you can follow the links to the database and then search for the title or browse by volume/issue. If it appears we don't have the full-text of the article you seek, contact the Public Services Librarian to request it through OCLC.
- You could also try our Article Finder if you have a correct citation. The SOAR search and discovery system will search our online databases for the article. If it is not found within our collection, you can quickly fill out an online form to have our staff request the article via Interlibrary Loan.
