If you need help creating a link to a database resource you will need to use our EZ Proxy. What is an EZ Proxy? It is a URL that goes before the URL link to content in a database that allows you to access that content through the library's subscription, check out our Creating Links to Content in IVCC Library Databases page for help on how to create these links per database.
If you are already in an online database and trying to find an article through a full text link and it is not working, you may be experiencing a broken link. If this is the case, the slides below show what you should expect to see and how to report the broken link, so that we may resolve the issue:
First select 'Report a Problem' under the Links menu.
Next, you will fill out the report form by stating in the Question field that you are having a Link Problem, then explain what title you are trying to access, include the URL and as much information as possible. By putting in your email address, we can let you know when the issue is resolved.
