Logging into Library Resources

Jacobs Library resources are free to all IVCC students, staff, faculty, and administration with your IVCC credentials. The vast collection can be accessed on-campus by anyone, or from off-campus with your IVCC email account. When clicking on a resource from off-campus, you will be redirected to your email login page.

On Wednesday, July 27, students will be switching from K#@office365.ivcc.edu emails to K#@ivcc.edu. Please view the tabs below to help prepare yourself for the new login process.

It is important to note that to get back to library resources for free with your credentials, you will need to grab the permalinks or direct links to pick up IVCC's subscriptions. On the left, use the navigation tab to view how to create links to content in different databases.

If you experience issues with linking or logging in, contact the library or grace_norris@ivcc.edu.

Why? What can you do with your entire 14 digit IVCC ID card #?

  • Check out library materials (card must be present).
  • Request books from other Illinois colleges and universities through our library catalog.
  • Borrow laptops for use in the library.

How? What information do you need to log in from off-campus?

  • Follow a link on the library webpage or a link your teacher provided.
  • When prompted, select IVCC Login if you are a student, staff, or faculty member.
  • Login with your IVCC email account.
  • Each time you have a new Internet browser session you need to log in again.

Please contact the library with questions about off-campus access. For more information about the email change, go to www.ivcc.edu/email.
