-Curbside pickup is available from 8:00am to 2:00pm Monday through Thursday.
-Requests placed before 1pm will be processed and available for pickup the same business day. Requests taken after 1pm will be processed and available for pickup the following business day.
-Please call at least 30 minutes before you plan to pick up your items.
-For the safety of our patrons and staff, a mask must be worn when picking up library items.
-A form of photo ID is required to pick up items. While we prefer IVCC ID cards, a driver's license or state issued ID are acceptable during this time.
-Items will be delivered to the circle drive at the main campus entrance. Curbside pickups are currently only available at the Oglesby campus.
1) Search the library's online catalog and write down the title and call number of items that you would like to request. Directions can be found here or at the bottom of this page.
2) Call the IVCC Library at 815-224-0306 between 8:00am and 1:00pm. A staff member will ask for the following information:
-Your name
-Your 7 digit IVCC ID number
-The title of the item(s) you would like to pick up
-The day and time you prefer to pick up your items. (Please allow at least 30 minutes for processing between your call and pickup)
-Your vehicle type and color
1) Park in circle drive near the building entrance.
2) Call the IVCC library at 815-224-0306 to let us know that you have arrived.
3) Have your photo ID ready and be sure to wear a mask.
4) If you would like items to be placed in your trunk, please open it when you arrive.
5) A library staff member will approach your window, ask to see your ID, and deliver your items to you.
-Items can be returned by placing them in the drive-up bookdrop in Lot #7.
-If you would like to renew your item, visit the library's online catalog and click on the login link in the upper right corner. Once you've logged in with your 14-digit IVCC ID number and last name, you will be able to view your checked out items and renew them.
