Library Access

Why?​ What can you do with your entire 14 digit IVCC ID card #?

  • Check out library materials (card must be present).
  • Request books from other Illinois colleges and universities through our library catalog.
  • Borrow laptops for use in the library. 

How? What information do you need to log in from off-campus?

  • Follow a link on the library webpage or a link your teacher provided.
  • When prompted, select IVCC Login if you are a student, staff, or faculty member. 
  • Login with your IVCC email account.
  • Each time you have a new Internet browser session you need to log in again.

Where? ​Need to get an ID card created? 

  • Main campus: Contact the Office of Admissions and Records
  • Ottawa Center: Ask at the Information Desk 

Please contact the library with questions about your ID card.

Ottawa Center counts as on-campus. Ottawa Center students only need to log in to library resources from off-campus.

Dual credit students need to log into library resources from off-campus and from dual credit high school sites.
