Place a reservation to ensure that your preferred study space is available at a specific time. All spaces are open for patron use unless a reservation has been scheduled. If a room is reserved and you would like help locating a similar space or technology, please contact the library service desk for assistance.

A Building Building A is one entrance to Jacobs Library and Academic Support Center. Items within this space include: Library Service Desk, Student Help Desk, Tutoring & Writing Center, Quick print Stations, Printer ( Name: A-201) Table & Chairs and Scanner. Recommended uses: Studying, Research help, Tutoring & Writing help, Asking questions and printing.
Main Collection  Items within this Space include: Tables & Chairs (Capacity is 4 people), Computers, Soft seating, Charging Stands, Quick print computer, Printer, Main Collection of books, Catalog computer. Recommended uses: Studying, Browsing shelves, Relaxing, Printing (Name: C-229), Researching
Reading Room  The Reading Room divides A Building from the rest of the library. Items within this Space include: Soft seating, Whiteboard, Marker board, Chess Table, Table & Chairs BestSellers, New Books, Career, Wellness, Graphic Novels  Recommended uses: Studying, Relaxing
Local History/Study Space  Capacity is 4-6 people  Items within this Space include: A special collection of materials about the local area (IVCC District), IVCC Authors (books written by past & present students, faculty and staff, Table & Chairs, Microfiche Reader  Recommended uses: Studying, Browsing & using Local History material (Ask Librarian for help), Reading microfiche
