One Book, One College

One Book, One College Mission

The OBOC program aims to create a community of readers and critical thinkers, and to engender a vibrant and engaging dialogue on campus and beyond. The campus read is a year-long, interdisciplinary program, engaging the IVCC community through the reading and discussion of one book and related subjects. The goal of the OBOC initiative is to build community appreciation for higher education and IVCC, provide programming that meets diverse needs of students, support teaching and learning, and provide professional development for employees.

One Book, One College Team (2025-2026)

  • Ellen Evancheck, Director of Learning Resources
  • Tina Hardy, Coordinator of the Center for Accessibility and Neurodiversity
